Alyssa comenzĆ³ su carrera como planificadora de eventos/administradora de recreaciĆ³n en una pequeƱa comunidad en las montaƱas Pocono. Luego se mudĆ³ a Filadelfia, donde nos encontrĆ³ despuĆ©s de lidiar con su propio dolor en el hombro y el nervio ciĆ”tico.
Era nueva en el mundo de la fisioterapia para el suelo pĆ©lvico, pero rĆ”pidamente quedĆ³ intrigada y desempeƱa un papel activo para asegurarse de que cada paciente se sienta apoyado, escuchado y apreciado.

En su tiempo libre, Alyssa disfruta caminar por tiendas de antigĆ¼edades para encontrar esas piezas Ćŗnicas, viajar a lugares nuevos; incluida su playa favorita del oeste en Delaware, ademĆ”s de estar al aire libre con sus dos cachorros salvajes y locos.
MONICA FILIPS, PT, DPT
Dr. Monica Filips graduated from McDaniel College in 2014 with a degree in Exercise Chemistry and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University in 2018. She began her career in acute care, working with many different patient populations including neurosciences, oncology, women’s health, post-partum, COVID-19, general medicine and surgery, orthopedic oncology, and trauma.
After experiencing her own pregnancy and navigating her own ongoing postpartum recovery, Monica became passionate about helping others navigate their own journeys through a whole person approach to rehab. She has taken continuing education through Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute and is trained to help patients with all pelvic floor conditions. As a Delaware County native, Monica is excited to join the Restore Team in Broomall and provide rehab services to the Delco community!
Monica is currently embracing her newest role as a mom! She loves being outside with her husband and baby girl, spending time down the shore, hiking, and taking walks around her neighborhood. In her free time she also enjoys swimming, cycling, running, and strength training.
AUDREY BROWN, PT, DPT, PCES, CSCS
Dr. Audrey Brown earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin Madison and Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Drexel University. She has experience working with a variety of populations in orthopedics and pelvic floor conditions with education through the American Physical Therapy Association. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Audrey worked as a yoga instructor and certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Audrey loves treating athletes, patients who have pelvic pain, and those who have been through prolapse repairs and endometriosis excision surgeries. She has a special place in her heart for helping the perinatal population have a comfortable pregnancy and postpartum rehab experience! Audrey is also a Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist and is looking forward to exploring more education and certifications in dry needling and pediatric pelvic floor treatment.
